Cannot create a New module in admin backend-get a 500 Error - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi!
really digging joomla! , have awesome site , running except small bug. in admin backend, when try make new module, "500 - error has occurred. layout default not found". i'm guessing there's bad file somewhere, don't know exists or should exist. if shed light on it, i'd eternally thankful.

shared hosting? did check file , folder permissions (644 files, 755 directories)?

are using default joomla admin template?

what mean create? new instance of existing module place on site? or installing new module on site via extension manager?

is tmp , log folder setup properly? can try uploading extracted folder site , installing way , see if same issue if that's meant.

the best bet re-upload joomla files , make sure transfer mode set binary avoid corrupt files. have corrupted file or two. transferring single files pain , slow, that's when people run issues.

next time try akeeba+kickstart, or site transfer wizard in pro version. it's component archives site, backs up, or can move single compressed file, extract it, , joomla , running via interface.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
