Thread: How to sync folders in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

hello dropbox linux experts:

i've downloaded dropbox ubuntu 10.04 lts, want sync folder can't moved it's present position main folder in dropbox.

because computer dual boots windows 7, downloaded dropboxaddon called dropbox folder sync, available windows , i've got , running ok.

there way issue command in terminal sync folders , if so, command? location of 2 folders follows:

/home/name/desktop/documents/e-sword

and

/home/name/dropbox/e-sword

first folder described above can not moved because program (e-sword) recognise sub-folder in documents folder. if it's missing, e-sword automatically generates new folder in same location.

you create symbolic link 1 location other. create symlink, hold down ctrl-shift , drag file new location. can create split window in file manager make easier hitting f3.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
