Thread: Launch Compiz with Classic Desktop?

my machine ran compiz on 9.04. sadly, it's old run unity.

i've switched classic desktop - how compiz run automatically? @ moment, i'm opening terminal , running

code:

compiz --replace

when go system -> preferences -> appearance, don't see "enable desktop effects" option used to. there way can back?

i'm using nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 173)

in natty 11.04, there no "visual effects" tab in "appearance" anymore, because whether compiz run or not determined session settings, , respective support checks.
