Aplying the Next style to the following paragraph

hi there,

 

i seeking advice, when using next style capability defined in paragraph stylet. se image pleae:

these different paragraphs conectedd: name of product has next style specification, followed next style material, followed colros style. works fine if manually type text. when pressing return key, next defined style applyed following paragraph. awesome! works when typing.

 

it not work while:

 

1. grab text contains more paragraphs {excel example} , put blank textframe, id format paragraphs name of product. no matter how many paragraphs pasted clipboard. { expected id override styling of first 4 paragraphs according seqence defined.}
2. i paste or write 1 single paragraph of text. if put cursor in middle , while pressing return key want put new paragraph there. there new paragraph, styling of both paragraphs ramain jsut same – name of product style. { expect text behid new paragraph take specification styling. wrong.}

 

so next style function works me when manually tiping.

 

i defined paragraph styling sequence, because thought paste text textframe @ once. have type manually, have in xls file?

no... pasting in @ once won't work, either. trick put text insertion point in first paragraph, right-click style name , choose "apply style, next style"
