Bottom align text, filling upwards
hi all. hoping create text box, align bottom specific position on artboard, start typing , have text flow upwards add text, keeping bottom line's baseline in same position. way, can have multiple text boxes of varying lengths (ie. 4 lines, 8 lines, 1 paragraph, 3 paragraphs, etc.) stay aligned baseline of last line, , vary how far artboard each of them go (like thermometer). appears can align them @ top, causing bottoms end @ various positions - opposite of need.
so question - option convert of these texts outline, in order bottom align resulting bounding boxes?
that work in case, share common last line. but, if each line different , 1 of lines had letters descenders , 1 didn't, or if lengths of descenders different letter letter, line line, break, align on lowest anchor point , not original baseline.
or - other thought make initial text box taller required hold longest of texts, copy that, , add empty returns @ start of each text, force text down line @ time, lowest point can go without overflowing text box. character , paragraph settings may need finessing keep lines no matter how many paragraphs each box had. still tricky align bottom line's baseline specific point, think keep texts aligned relative each other. , may have redo if ever changed in 1 of texts (or in design...)
any thoughts? thanks.
george,
or - other thought make initial text box taller required hold longest of texts,
that should work.
