Confused how Key frame velocity works--want to make video faster
how make video faster accurate hundredth of second in aae cs4?
i have taken audio out of video converting avi wav.
when edited audio in audacity improve quality of audio, in appears have compressed time of audio track 0.8 seconds in 4 minute 10.2 second long video.
when add video , edited audio onto time line of video editor not aae cs4 can support clips longer 30 seconds , mute video audio can hear new edited audio, extremely anoying new edited audio out of sync video.
so surmised solution problem make video faster in aae cs4. each 30 second long clip make faster (0.8 seconds)/(250.2 seconds/30 second clip) = 0.0585 seconds
however, when in aae cs4 when set keyframe @ end of video clip @ time 30.00 seconds , drag key frame left make video faster, greatest accuracy can shorten video 30.00 seconds 29.29 seconds, when need accurate hundreth of second.
what do?
edit: if in animation menu, click on "key frame velocity" , set key frame velocity of "1.0585 seconds/second", speed 30 second clip 0.0585 seconds?
edit 2: more over, confused how key frame velocity works since changes can not seen naked eye in trial , error on 30 second clip obvious on 4 minute long video aae cs4 supports 30 second clips.
so mean make faster want make key frame velocity higher decimal value "1.00 seconds/second" "1.0585 seconds/second", or want make key frame velocity lower decimal value "1.00 seconds/second" "0.9415 seconds/second"?
and important set decimal value "out going velocity" not "in going velocity"?
and "influence" mean on key frame velocity menu?
and "continuous" mean on key frame velocity menu?
why not resample audio , stretch original length? seriously, doing trying re-use crooked nail , spending hours on straightening it. you're looking solution on wrong end. , depending on did audio, may have done wrong way. couldn't imagine why audio editor on planet shorten file unless tell to...
