ID crashing before it loads.

wow, crashes continue, diff hue:

 

began frequent hang-ups when exporting pdf. not complete; force quit. on reload, not recover file, right there on hd. open doc, again hung-up on export pdf. try different doc, creashes before program loads. cannot ene id load, cannot export .idml.

 

troubleshooting:

i uninstalled , reinstalled omit user preference issues,then ran updatre "help" menu within program. find interesting workspace , (cannot remember what!) pref remained intact when thought i'd lose them.

 

using "safe" fonts, far know. worked fine when completed project month ago. client needs 1 small change each of 12 one-page id files , cannot access program.

 

running id cs5 on imac 10.6.8 w/4gb sdram.

the 2 things need first run update indesign 7.0.4 , empty indesign recovery folder in user library. more there corrupt recovery file preventing id starting, , there pdf export problems in initial release addressed inthe update.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
