Pixel iteration when footage smaller than sequence size?

hi everyone,

 

i having problem plugins when footage smaller sequence.

 

for reason premiere (and premiere, ae fine in regard) iterates pixels not clip origin (let's 200,100), sequence origin (0,0). since iterates amount of pixels proper clip size (correct), results in part of layer being totally cut off (in example 200 pixels right, , 100 pixels below).

 

for it's worth, if clip has proper aspect ratio, , scale sequence size clicked, or if bigger clip scaled down, effect applied properly.

 

i have tried using various offsets, not work. i'm missing something. using ae sdk.

(actually great topic ae sdk forum, since it's usage of ae sdk, although in ppro)

 

if media , sequence resolution don’t match in ppro, can locate media in sequence using pf_indata->pre_effect_source_origin , factoring in downsample.
