renditions question

hi,

 

i have had folio created @ 1024 x 768 available download few weeks, , i'm thinking putting ipad3 version of (2014 x 1536). happen ipad3 users have downloaded 1024 x 768 version? offered 'new' folio download , therefore end 2 versions of folio - or 1024 x 768 version 'update' 2014 x 1536 version?

 

also, while i'm on topic, i've never created second rendition of folio before. in folio producer - propogate fields (folio name, publication name, folio number, product id) exact same information first rendition? doesn't cause issues haveing 2 folio's exact same info assigned?

your first guess correct: if user ipad 3 has downloaded 1024x768 version, , later publish 2048x1536 version, end 2 versions (the 1024 downloaded , 2048 version that's available download).

 

and yes, 2 renditions have have exact same information in every single field. means not folio name , other things mentioned, meta each article (the sidecar.xml thing useful that). doesn't cause issues; have make sure if later make change 1 rendition, have exact same thing other.
