Thread: Bash is going absolutely Insane

hello. working in folder containing notes i've written in terminal environment , terminal not recognize file, though it's there!

used command mmv relocate said files notes folder. i'm cli intermediate, average amount of experience terminal. being said, i'm @ loss explain it. i've tried rebooting, running root, name it.

displayed below picture of situation. note personal information blurred out privacy. thank in advance helping, not rather serious, really, really, hate lose these files if disk corrupt or that.

the command ls aligns output (in columns). see how output not "apparently" aligned? guess filenames have character before readable name. if it's space, this:
code:
$ cat " december 13, 2010.txt"
or
code:
$ cat \ december\ 13,\ 2010.txt
if character, came here can you.

hope helps.
