hey everyone, have basic question here , thought place find answer.

computer science major, , had first statistics class. pretty general stats class, 100 level course, , kind of stats class used lot of charts, there absolutely no calculus involved.

question is, computer science major(who wants career in programming), should go beyond class , try understand statistics on deeper level, or basic class pretty cover in situations? university offers lot of statistics classes, options there.

heres topics class talked about:descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, contingency tables, multiple regression, , analysis of variance.
