Thread: Network Manager Disappeared
hi everyone, i'm absolute newbie on forum please bear ignorance![]()
trying connect ubuntu , win7 laptop via lan cable create file sharing. followed post , got stuck, , realised had "sudo apt-get purge" network manager... , not network manager disappeared, wireless connection stopped working.
tried manually reinstall network manager downloading package on windows laptop, lot of problem occurred such intltool old (solved) , no gettext (unsolved)...
i'm wondering if there's easier way of getting network manager or @ least internet connection back????

do have ubuntu install cd? insert cd open synaptic package manager , search box locate "network manager" right-click , install.
