Working with remote images

hi everyone. firstly forum has provided. have been using adobe products on 18 years now, , 1 ever-present aspect of being adobe user has been general poor support, seemingly untested updates/patches, incompatitbility osx , apple gfx drivers, , of all; known bugs survive several major software updates.

 

one such bug causing serious problems me, , knowing how work around it, or failing that, make adobe aware enough fix problem next update or major release.

 

dreamweaver not refresh remote images in design view. ever. no amount of refreshing, right clicking, select sourcing, size resetting fix - have quit , restart dreamweaver. far aware, problem has existed in several if not versions - have restarted program refresh remote images, , fine making odd html email, day-to-day work has changed , becoming real problem.

 

also - small one, equally annoying - "reset size" greyed out remote images. however, little icon next pixel dimension in properties box works fine. i've been right-clicker - don't tend use properties box unless have to. problem may present in cs5.5 on osx.

 

current setup: mac pro, osx lion, cs5.5 w/ patches/updates.

 

i have seen around 12 discussions detailing first point, of them seem have since died death, or been mysteriously marked 'answered' no apparent solution. appreciate adobe prefer use site manager define , manage local , remote sites, , use built in ftp up/download files, upon testing, seems make no difference. brutally honest, site manager , ftp don't work compared freeware alternatives.

 

any or advice on problem appreciated, feel assistacnce in getting adobe acknowledge these ancient issues more valuable general community.

the remote images have seen dw have problems have spaces in pathnames.  , work remote images day, when testing other people's layouts on forum.  can give specific example of image won't refresh you?
