ID CS6 Crash exporting to Print PDF in Windows

hi there,

 

i having trouble exporting indesign file high quality pdf document printing. using windows 7 64-bit.

 

current file size of document 234 mb, of images linked. when try , export, crashes error:

(this in german. shows standard error , closing message of windows 7. adobe indesign cs6 has stopped working... blahblah)

 

 

so have tried exporting other various files (for testing purposes).

 

  • downscaled graphics 72dpi crashing.
  • idml crashing.
  • i have tried on laptop windows 7, still crashing.
  • exporting without of graphics (using copy made few days ago) working. filesize of copy 13 mb. fonts , else looking good. after copy started putting in graphics.
  • interactive pdf (with downscaled graphics) working.

 

 

so tips on how done? in advance.

divide , conquer.

 

can export document in 2 halves? if both halves work, it's system resources problem (234 mb pretty big id file), , can combine them in acrobat.

 

if 1 half crashes, divide in half , try again, continuing divide until either have success or isolate single page problem (this take few steps).

 

if isolate page, use same technique to isolate object causing problem , replace it.

 

work on copy safety.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
