Lightroom 4/Lightroom 2 book

  i'm hands on person has learned computer knowledge on time.  have digital camera , have had beginning course in photoshop.  have 9 thousand digital photos filed, backed up, keyworded, etc...  i've got nice digital photo organization i've crafted on own.  i've been religious keeping up.  went looking cataloging program.  latched on lightroom few years ago.  got big lightroom 2 book martin evening.  have gone thru book twice taking notes , third time around making progress toward understanding lightroom better.  question is, can buy lightroom4 , able know way around lightroom 2 book notes?  have, far, 0 people ask (unless here) if run problems installing , using lightroom4.  not have any lightroom program yet.  have buy computer this.  have job tires me out , not have lot of free time or money call in questions if need help.  thought lightroom 4 not different lightroom 2.  buy lightroom 2 or 3 if lightroom 4 different 2?   thank information on this.

my advice buy v4 book!

 

especially process versions change old workflows not best anymore.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
