Problem with large (24-hour long) mp3 files

i haven't seen problem addressed here, thought ask audio experts on board. have series of large mp3 files, , large, mean around 24 hours in length. encoded @ 44,100, 32-bit, 128 kbps cbr, , 1.4 gb in size. these recordings made online radio source while back. wanted make minor edits these files own personl use (clean of audio, etc.), have been using audition 5.5 , 6 (on mac) make edits. can open , make edits files in audition fine. (sometimes task take little while due large amount of ram being used , size of files, of course, that's not problem me @ point). when done edits, save file in exact same format (but different file name reflect edits made). now, here's problem comes in. tried open edited files in itunes, , noticed seems load 13 hours of file. don't kind of error message, entire file not loaded (if scan through file, play fine, cuts off @ 13 hour mark). next tried move few of edited files ipod, , same thing happened: 13 hours of each file copied on - no error message. again, can play files on ipod, cut off after 13 hours. tried re-open edited files in audition, , when "opening file" dialog box got 100%, did error message: "an error encountered during conforming process: unable read or decode file."  if click "ok" (the option in dialog box), waveform show in editing window, again, first 13 hours or so. happened in both audition 5.5 , 6. also, heck of it, tried open these edited files on windows xp system @ house, in both audition 5.5 , itunes, same results. has me confused. can't size of files causing problem, because of recorded files same time length, format , file size edited ones, , open fine in audition , itunes. reason, after save files in audition, can't re-open entire file again. program able open , play entire edited file in quicktime player. have suggestions happening? here system specs:

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
