Problem with verifying website in Google Webmaster Tools - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i have question google verification proces. try add html verification file root directory of joomla website. problem is, google says there's no verification file found. that's strange because file in root directory of website.

to use "change of address" feature in google webmaster tools, need verify site without "www" prefix version. need verify both http://www.mysite.com , mysite.com version of site.

the "www" version of site verified google. when try use change of adress function, google says following:

"we can't verify [nameofthesite.com]. in order put in change of address request, [nameofthesite.com] must verified same method [www.nameofthesite.com]. please add [nameofthesite.com] account , confirm owner , then, try again".

well, because verified www-version of site, need upload html verification file root folder in order verify non-www version.

my question is: directory on server correct directory put html verification file in? (this joomla site). uploaded root directory, doesn't seem work.

i have no access control panel of site.

if not sure method there several other methods can verify website. place meta tags in code, can verify using google analytics account.

and regarding non-www , www website advisable redirect 1 of url's in htaccess avoid duplication , passing link juice.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
