Thread: dosnt work when installed

hi all.

ran issue unable solve on own , not sure @ time.

been running standard ubuntu (gnome) installation time , 11.04 has come unity desktop. giving fair shake , run through not liking decided switch kde. had used kde many years ago distro , on other computer.

try out kde on computer, used live cd kubuntu. booted fine. able use live cd , thought go ahead , install , make switch ubuntu kubuntu.

once had kubuntu installed on harddrive. system not boot up. login screen. enter username , password , on next screen kde has set of 5 icons before reach desktop.

system stop @ 4th icon. remain "out of focus" on icon , lose mouse , keyboard control.

wondering potentially cause happen when booting harddrive not live cd.

(( have gone , reinstalled unity/gnome version of ubuntu have working computer ))


from login screen in 11.04 can click 'sessions' , select 'classic ubuntu' , gnome desktop environment if you. don't have use unity. possibly know that, though.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
