Thread: Firefox 4 Default Home Page?

can tell me how remove customization applied about:home page on ubuntu, i.e. customised google search box , general changes layout compared stock version shipped firefox (e.g. on windows)?

2 problems have page ubuntu replaces about:home there no button 'restore previous session' , search box not standard google search default. able use same page on other os since address of page about:home cannot change homepage , same page on ubuntu. don't want remove ubuntu customizations firefox 4, want able use same homepage across os's.

googling , search of these forums hasn't shown threads other users wanting solve problem.

suggestions?

in advance.

if understand saying correctly, each os uses own home page.
can't go onto web page want use home page, ie google, make note of web address in top bar , change home pages address, in browser settings?

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
