ok, don't know if thread belongs in forum since it's more network security ubuntu security, here goes.

other day setting private minecraft server me , friend. i'm no computer guru or that, read quick guide on how portforward , did said.

after hour setup firewall rule let friends ip through.

question is, during time when port open probable hacker could've gotten in system. , if he/she did in, have installed malware on hard drive.

i'm using wubi windows vista , natty.

probable, no. possible, yes. unless has happened been happening makes believe have been hacked, not worry it.
