i know there loads written getting working in different version of ubuntu , differing chipsets.

totally new linux (had minor experience unix years ago) , trying ubuntu first time (version 11.04) way of reviving decidely clunky xp machine. have tried live version , see.

cannot network connected. using desktop pci wireless card - linksys wmp54gs-uk - not of version 1.0 or 1.1

cannot system see card, getting message around firmware. have no internet connectivity unless physically carry down stairs , connect on wired. wifi adapter use broadcom bcm4318 chipset.

have noted comments using sta (not sure is). have tried install using ndiswrapper

have looked @ several threads end getting more confused. not know how undo things have tried feel clean start necessay.

when try run commands such \etc\network\interfaces no output.

needed.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
