Thread: possibility of downgrading my version of xubuntu?


hi all, i'm using xubuntu 10.04 lucid on asus eeepc 1101ha graphics appear choppy (e.g. when scrolling, minimising windows or trying watch in vlc) , after having little rummage around on internet general consensus gma500 graphics card (which machine contains) isn't @ , not supported in versions later 9.10.
question is. either there way upgrade graphics drivers , make 10.04 run smoother on netbook, or there way of downgrading 9.10 karmic without having make usb boot drive , starting again. i'm new linux , think it's brilliant, i'm finding hard iron out creases massively appreciated, can't watch youtube video
