Thread: Resolution problem
ok, begginer. need help, , squeezed pretty hard time.
want achieve:
ubuntu os installed flash, can carry places me.
far .. kinda did ... problem arose:
use flash drive on 2 pc's 1 or 2 virtual boxes , old notebook.
@ first ok, .. not ok anyomore... in virtual box window, if enter fullscreen mode, resolution still stay 640x480 no matter what, , in laptop same way. worse occupies quarter of screen or so.
tried reconfigure xorg, deleted , created again nothing seems work.
what

have ati card on main pc, , installed driver worked before. don't know other information provide... notebook use weird model, gericom hummer 26640 15.x inch screen 1360x768 default resolution

new update in situation, removed ati, drivers, , did sudo apt-get remove xserver, , reinstalled it. situation stays same...
1 thing have noticed when os loading loading screen in exact same position desktop is(note picture) , makes me believe problem not x related... thing when booted in desktop pc, standard resolution 1440x900(or something) , default resolution of monitor 1680x1050.
new ideeas ? out ...
tried dpkg-reconfigure or withou -phigh, both did absolutely nothing. no error message, nothing.
