Extract pasted InDesign images?

i've received indesign package has 60 images in it, mixture of vector (.ai and.pdf) , raster.

in links panel, 8 of images show up. these ones in links folder.

this leads me believe others somehow pasted indesign file.

i've contacted creator, has limited experience of indesign , insists put them in same way, although suspicious.

is there way verify if have been pasted or extract files it.

extra information:

the suspected pasted links don't show @ in links panel, not embedded files.

the file export pdf , vectors still sharp @ 6400% in acrobat.

i sending job printers part of book package , worried preflight.

when right click on 1 of offending images, options there on correctly linked image such edit original , "graphic" missing

i appreciate help. thanks

i'm sure there's script out there somewhere directly in indesign.

what i've done in past make pdf , choose no compression of downsizing of images @ all.
