Looking for an image resizing module for a Joomla 2.5 site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello, anyone. please help. suggestion welcome towards following:

i'm looking forward module blog i'm having in website. blog going managed i'm destining publisher or editor (still not sure role i'll give him, not problem).

the situation is: user post articles in blog without slightest problem on image editing. not want him edit photos in photoshop/paint/gimp/anything prior uploading images article (no image cropping, no image size reduction). i'm looking module intelligent enough (joomla 2.5 compatible) execute these 2 tasks (image resizing , image "reweighting") without graphic intervention user.

i want module friendly enough give me chance (as superuser of site) set dimensions display images within blog template (one thumb front page of blog, , other 1 article picture, is, picture inside article). , want module smart enough follow these settings not design's sake best of remote server, since wouldn't publisher/editor upload heavy images host (don't know if last requirement possible achieve).

i wanted test module or component, i'm not sure, called "image resizer", 1 seemed closest description made above... sadly, module not available downloading anymore (the link broken , i've searched everywhere in google. find mentions it).

the other one, tested, named "image sizer", i'm not happy it.

can recommend in line of described, or @ least tell me if i'm longing exists joomla 2.5 site?

this great description of problem i'm having, me it's because i'm running school website , 1 of authors (a teacher) is, frankly, technically challenged/inattentive instructions can't understand necessity of uploading smaller images or remember how it. has able post images class, won't go through process of resizing huge images camera. i'm hoping extension k2 integration, if exists.
