lr4 to ps6 (creative cloud) edit not working
ok, know there have been several threads on topic, none of them appears offer solution issue.
i creative cloud subscriber , have both lr4 (lr4.1, camera raw 7.1) , ps6 (v13.0 x64) installed on apple mac pro (v 1,1, 2x intel xeon dual-core 2.66 - circa 2007) running os x 10.7.4 (lion) 12gb ram , on 1.5tb hdd space on internal system drive , on 500gb hdd space on internal drive keep images , lr library. (last week) clean install of os x 10.7.4 running current software updates (including reformat of hdd's) have been attempting resolve issue several days.
here's issue:
i have imported ~500 .nef files nikon d300 (yes, d300) , converted them .dng @ time of import. have copied .nef files separate directory.
upon selecting "edit in photoshop" ps6 application open, no file appears within ps6. nor lr4 create expected .psd file have expected see within lr4 @ time "edit in photoshop" command (as lr has done in prior versions). although have had issue past lr , ps versions well, able work-around manually creating "edit in photoshop" link , using version of command, that's not working either.
i have lr4 external editing preferences set create .psd, adobe rgb (1998) color space, 8 bit files, 240 resolution, stack original.
selecting different file types not resolve issue.
i have attempted multiple steps: uninstall, reinstall, rebuild ps6 .plist, verifying permissions on both system , library hdd going far perform complete resinstall of os x. attempts @ resolving issue have been unsuccessful. creating brand-new catalog , reimporting images results in same behavior - ps6 opens, no image appears.
does have other ideas? @ complete , utter loss next.
this point on edge of abandoning adobe , lr product integration of these apps critical workflow. if doesn't resolved, move on , adjust workflow , adobe lose significant portion of future business. , includes cancellation of creative cloud membership - fall perpetual license.
thanks in advance.
ps6 opening no image appearing sounds lr's not talking acr properly.
have tried trashing lr's plist file? , can open photos directly acr dialog bridge?
