Old Adobe product - serial number issues

hi,

 

we have adobe acrobat 7.0 professional installed on 3 old xp pro based pcs. software on these aging pcs needs me migrated new hardware. unfortunately, due age of software on pc, particular 3rd party product _only_ supports version 7, can't upgrade newer version of adobe software.

 

i've tried re-activate software via automated telephone system, rejectes activation saying serial number invalid. i've discussed via chat support agent - serial numbers invalid.

 

due staff leaving , builidng moves, original paperwork , cdroms cannot found. have no idea if serial numbers reported applications match on cds, , cannot provide proof of purchase - don't know software purchased can't find purchase order.

 

so, i'm stuck. adobe there nothing can , can't progress migration due software licensing issue. i've asked adobe if possible buy licenses old versions of software - no.

 

any ideas?

acro 7 won't work on win 7, anyway, running in circles no matter what. i'm afraid there's no way out of other going dark place...

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
