Questions on Slideshows in & from Lightroom 4

as mac user relatively new lr, need bit of guideance. accustomed creating slideshows in imovie. however, first time have used lr process images export imovie. without going detail, raw processed images exported (as jpegs) imovie retained of editing except major changes in tonality. inherent problem of incompatibility between lr4 & imovie '11?

 

if so, need explore other options creating quality slideshows compatible lr. correct me if wrong, slideshow module in lr seems rather limited interms of features (compared imovie). can recommend alternative slideshow-creatibg app plays lr?

don't me started on slideshow module ... has languished in obscurity since introduced in lr v1 ...

 

i don't think incompatibility per se ... jpegs jpegs whether come lr, iphoto or other source ... color profile using when export jpegs imovie? if not using srgb, culprit ... cause i'm not sure imovie honors or recognizes other available color profiles adobe rgb or prophoto rgb ...

 

as other options on mac ... purchased aperture 3 pretty slideshow , book features (this before book module in lr 4 came out though still prefer books in a3) ... far concerned, a3 slideshow setup should model others build upon ... it's quite full featured ... since familiar imove, it's setup quite similar ...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
