Text moving when opening a pdf in illustrator

i opened 2 separate hi res pdfs (the front , of postcard) in illustrator 5.1. type on both sides had been outlined , relinked background image on both sides after did color adjustments it. type on front name of company , headline. both white type in separate magenta bars. type centered both horizontally , vertically in each bar.

 

when opened front, headline text moved being centered horizontally on pdf flush right company name. there no problems text moving on side.

 

we have been receving files client several years , make color adjustments due uncoated paper stock print on , have never encountered before. original files supplied pdfs made created in illustrator 5.

 

is known issue? if not, acrobat or illustrator problem.

sounds more structure of original ai in such way, items become unanchored. happens when accidentally move stuff between groups , ai not reset transform information. may specific appearance on object has not been expanded , results in wrong calculation of placment of bounding boxes in turn makes embed oddly in pdf...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
