Thread: analog television in mythtv

hi everyone. trying watch tv on monitor mythtv. had card configured correctly. first half of hauppauge 1600 analog tuning, have select ivtv dropdown menu. receiving error message stating cannot opened. hour ago fine. when working fine , normal, still not receive video on tv. in mythtv. receive red screen. coax cable running wall card. not want run through cable box seems difficult configure remote. went schedule direct , downloaded correct guide region(which us). problem? have searched forums , articles. want use mythtv , cease using windows media center. analog tv work in mythtv. using 0.24 version. operating system windows xp , not have graphics card setup tv-out yet. i have spent numerous days trying work. appreciated. mary

as have stated..your tuner card has 2 separate components.
ivtv mpeg2 encoder & dvb dtv device.
card used analogue ntsc rf free-to-air capture/encode & atsc dvb receiver.

if using cable box, not have use clear qam & dvb tuner ?
