Thread: OS did not boot even once after installation. No error specified.

hi
new both place , ubuntu. have hp-g42 laptop 64 bit processor running , windows 7 home basic. have 500gb hdd divided 4 drives.

today installed ubuntu studio 9.04 in laptop formatting 1 of remaining 3 drives (windows 7 , ubuntu installed in 2 different drives). whole installation successful & when start system see both windows 7 option , ubuntu option when select ubuntu ms-dos black screen comes lot of lines & codes or (i sorry have no clue of is) & stays that. waited 20 min. before shut down computer (by long pressing power button) & restarted it. time selected windows 7 & working fine. problem be? if need more system config or happy provide you.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
