the resulting discussion interesting, question  never received official answer, still in doubt.

 

my reason raising matter again have noticed, @ least in reader forum, marked increase in number of participants have notorious staff badge. find right if participating officially adobe staff. however, there several cases quite evident posting own personal opinions. which, unfortunately, @ times wrong, or show not understand problem being discussed, perhaps because of language problems.

 

the fact staff messages highlighted different background makes problem worse. in opinion, @ least, newcomers may wrongly led think such prominent messages adobe staff equivalent of reading bible.

 

i suggest removing different background, or @ least restrict use cases in person officialy posting member of adobe staff.

ideally, staff posting here, in capacity, should familiar product rather expressing his/her opinion.  guess same principle applies mvp.  point of mvp interfering in discussion in he/she has no expertise @ all.  disrupt discussion , whoever trying stops avoid unnecessary public row nothing!!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
