How to remove silence (gaps in conversation) from video?

i have both premiere pro , premiere elements. i'm not sure tool right 1 use post qustion in both forums.

 

how can delete or remove silence (long pauses in conversation) video? know can find , remove silence audio track in audition, cannot figure out how apply edits or changes video track stays in sync.

 

please keep in mind wnat automatically across several videos need automated possible.

if you're asking how cut segments out of video or audio clip, answer use split clip tool (the scissors button on monitor panel) slice on either side of segment want remove -- select segment on timeline , press delete on keyboard.

 

i don't know way remove segments of audio leave video intact , still keep them in sync. in fact, don't know how possible. you're either cutting out segments or you're not.

 

although can cut , remove segments both audio , video simultaneously. keep them in sync, if cuts rather evident viewer.
