ICC profile no longer installed

having experienced problem elements 9 , trying suggested remedies including drivers, icc profile downloads etc , having professional guy try sort it, no avail, i

decided uninstall photoshop elements 9 , go using previous version ie elements 8.  surprise, surprise, printing using 8 worked first time - no message re icc profile @ all.

having looked @ posts regarding problem , seeing happening across board, whether cs or elements , irrespective of printer, isn't time

adobe put hands , sorted problem.   see adobe advise upgrade, - sorry not getting honest answer , adobe failing address obviously

a problem experienced many of customers, hardly recommendation go upgrade.   else feeling frustrated not finding adequate solution?

we can share frustrations sue, , subject printer manufacturers supply drivers , location on os pass buck adobe , vice-a-versa.

 

 

does make difference if choose "let elements manage color" or "let printer manage color"? assume hardware settings consistent in either case.

 

 

you don’t printer using take @ tube video (for canon) has useful general pointers.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
