Thread: Acroread Error - libpixbufloader-xpm.so

i bought wild dog performance ubuntu 11.04 64-bit pre-installed. when open pdf acroread long list of errors, of important 1 seems be:

(acroread:3785): gdkpixbuf-warning **: error loading xpm image loader: unable load image-loading module: /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-xpm.so: /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-xpm.so: wrong elf class: elfclass64

how go installing missing module? have found following resource:

unsure of packages install, how install it. tried once rpm , received slew of failed dependencies along warning should use alien instead. didn't install.

can view pdf file, don't errors, , icon when alt-tabbing red circle line through it. neither of these problems prohibit me viewing files in acrobat, learn how fix nuisance.

have offer appreciated.

rpm files packages different type of distribution. designed distros use red hat package manager , yum, while ubuntu uses debian's packaging system , advanced packaging tool (apt). packages ubuntu end in .deb instead of .rpm.

ubuntu uses called ubuntu software center manage software. can find system tools, add-ons, , whole applications there. essentially, uses apt automatically download , install .deb files.

rpm package did try install? there .deb package available somewhere, , may available through software center.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
