okay-- have questions...

background-
support on "installation , upgrades" support forum graphics issues. have sticky there that. had 2 users had "really" basic" skills, similar hardware , not getting anywhere...

figured easiest way them create modified livecd them, kms mod's needed display correctly... uploaded 1 of shared spaces...

note: mod'ed boot options of "try" , "install" // not in install process...

1 user... resolved, installed , taken care of... other, can run live image perfectly, when goes install, hangs somewhere in process. user has box used mod'ed livecd on , installed fine from...

guess question is- there install log created in process, can through debug , see hanging? filename , location can tell user copy , post?

if not it's own install / progress log, i'm thinking go through /var/log/syslog , /var/log/dmesg... wondering if there "easier" , more direct.

guess load iso in virtual , see changes in install process , doing when gets screen user says locks in...

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
