hi guys,

general question: find remote desktop'ing using teamviewer on ubuntu seems slow? have used teamviewer years on windows machines , works trying on ubu machines , seems dead slow. file transfer bit seems quick actual remote control not. have tried both windows > ubuntu , ubuntu > ubuntu (10.04)

know may suggest using built in vnc in ubu ihave many machines manage , have them setup in teamviewer account (plus way dont need worry ddns or port forwarding)

know if there settings can play speed things up?

yup. same thing happening me.

teamviewer remote connection ubuntu 9.04 slow. guess lack of ability manage 2 monitors sepparetely ui refresh performance degraded. teamviewer client in 9.04 not let me remove wallpaper (more performance degradation)

clue on how make work better?

need use teamviewer because company has 5900 vnc port blocked.
