Thread: Network Transfer Speed only 11.3Mb/s

i noticed files transferring between 2 computers @ no more 11.3mb/s no matter do.

regularly use sshfs mount drive on main computer. after noticing dismal speed of 10mb/s when copying file, thought maybe sshfs slow.
tried scp, , i'm getting 11.3mb/s scp.
using blowfish cypher gave me no change this, still 11.3mb/s.

have gigabit network except cable, 10meter, 100mb/s cable.
have custom modified sysctl.conf file i'll post here if needed.

there can pathetic speed ?
maybe modification ssh config ? sysctl ? ?

correction:

speeds are;
ssh 11.3
sshfs 11.7
scp 11.3
scp -c blowfish 11.3

, spent few hours teaching myself how set nfs share same folder & guess what...

nfs 11.7 mb/s (increasing block size made no difference)

thought nfs supposed be, like, 6x faster ssh.
being limited speed of 100mb/s cable, or ?
have idea why can't faster speed ?
