Thread: Source Code Tree Standards

what standards source code structure? not code file, directory tree. example, know news file , readme file required, along others. believe read somewhere other standards, such folder store files not require compiling, such shell scripts. standards? have searched web, have not found out standards are. can help? in advance.

there's standard source code tree in package? that's news me. like, bothers @ tree inside of package? well, guess have point 1 reason or another.

gnu standards can found here. doesn't specify exact tree structure, shed more light onto specifications package should have.
