Thread: Ubuntu lost in dual boot
sometime ago installed (from memory...) ubuntu 9.10 using wubi, dual boot windows 7 onto friends laptop, used in art gallery display piece using openframeworks.
unfortunately @ gallery or more has corrupted/removed dual boot.
when system boots comes windows boot load gives option of windows or ubuntu. when ubuntu chosen drops grub prompt. here errors saying 'no kernel found'.
i've tried various things, such replacing wubildr , attempted follow guide recovering ubuntu after installing windows. each time stuck tho, there doesn't appear valid ubuntu install (unless i'm missing something???). possible windows or avg or has removed ubuntu install?

in partition did u install ubuntu?? if u installed ubuntu wubi must same partition of win7 ... problem don't see real solutionsposted zanuxzan
