Thread: What's most important for the speed of DVD ripping?

i finally, have enough money major upgrading , i'm wondering- affects speed of ripping dvds? clock speed, number of processor cores, cache size, or what? annoys me current, recent system can rip dvds barley faster takes watch them. i'm going am3 processor, i'd know matters more- having quad core athlon or having dual core phenom l3 cache?

even core i7 encoding dvds takes fair amount of time. need realize don't have permission rip dvds if own physical copy of it. asking such questions squarely prohibited.... ok couldn't keep going straight face xd video go intel lol. new sandybridge amazing video editing , stuff.
