Help, my equations won't number in order!

good day,

 

here code 2 equation formats have @ moment:

 

equation1: equation [<$chapnum>.<n=1>]
equation: equation [<$chapnum>.<n+>]

 

when apply equation 1 format, result this: equation [4.1]

 

which want.

 

the problem equation format; results in equation [4.1] when need equation [4.2]

 

what doing wrong? in fm 10, 32-bit os.

these autonumber formats paragraphs?

 

paragraph formats aren't applied actual fm equations, presume using these pgfs either ordinary flow body text in equation form, or captions actual equations.

 

if captions, putting them inside equation frames?

are putting more 1 caption in same frame?

autonumbering may not work in case.
