Thread: Atheros wireless not working on Natty

hello. bought new laptop , installed kubuntu natty on it. unable connect wifi.

network manager applet says "wireless disabled hardware" in fact wifi + bluetooth switch on , able use bluetooth on natty. on windows 7 able use wifi well.

laptop lenovo ideapad z570. i'm able use wireless no troubles on older compaq presario c771ut.

if wireless soft blocked acer-wireless (acer on lenovo???) do:

sudo rmmod -f acer-wmi  sudo rfkill unblock all

if wireless springs life, we'll amend file , make persistent.
