Thread: can't upgrade to 11.04 from 10.10

i can't upgrade ubuntu 10.10 box 11.04. brand new install, may missing something. (i had 10.10 usb ready go , figured install , release upgrade via net.)

far, i've tried checking upgrades using upgrade manager, no new releases found. "normal releases" selected under settings->updates->release upgrade too.

additionally, i've ran sudo do-release-upgrade command line, "no new releases found" there either.

i've tried...
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo update-manager -c

again, nothing!

missing something?

edit:

sudo do-release-upgrade works now. guess source wasn't being found!

glad see you've got fixed & posting solution.
can mark thread "solved" "thread tools" in upper right hand corner. can & cause show solved in web searches well, others can find easier.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
