Thread: Installing driver for ZEW1642S wireless adapter ubuntu 10.04

i have desktop , installed ubuntu 10.04 dual boot windows 7. desktop has wireless zew1642s card. don't have access wired internet connection, can use wireless on windows 7 fine. seems there no driver work on ubuntu, , since don't have internet connection while in ubuntu, seems can't update of course because need internet update. brand new whole linux thing. can give me step step instructions on how driver? thank much!

edit: wireless network not have password if means this.

edit 2: have exe installer driver don't know how i'm supposed inf file or whatever.

the first place start ubuntu wireless troubleshooting guide. in order device work need physical connectivity (plugged in way and/or turned on via machine's bios), driver communicate between device , operating system, , proper configuration of device typically via dhcp. please follow guide , indicate @ point having difficulty.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
