Thread: port forwarding security

i add port forwarding router allow me ssh or remote desktop pc. other having ubuntu password , remote desktop password through. how else can beef security?

do not consider exposing remote desktop (vino vnc) internet. p0wned in mere hours.

instead, forward ssh, , use freenx/neatx.
additionally, denyhosts , fail2ban lock down ssh access, , consider using keys instead of passwords. thats secure can make remote access.
