Thread: Ubuntu Classic session starts automatically after restart

hi, i've started using natty , splash screen giving problems. tried stop loading removing quiet splash /etc/default/grub file suggested somewhere on these forums. lead ubuntu being unable start normal unity session , loading ubuntu classic instead after giving error message graphic card.
changed grub file original, , ran update-grub again. if restart computer, ubuntu classic session starts automatically. if log out , log in again, unity session comes up. have set default session ubuntu, still after every restart it's ubuntu classic session

clear, happens
1) switch on computer, weird black , white pattern instead of splash screen
2) on log in page, session selected showing ubuntu
3) enter password, ubuntu classic starts up
4) log out, log in again without changing settings on startup screen
5) unity session starts

i'm okay splash screen, want able load normal ubuntu session @ start

i think yo'll find it's graphic card / driver problem. video card?

sudo lshw list hardware.
