Adobe Media Encoder CS6 crashes when quit

os x 10.7.4

multiple hardware types

adobe media encoder cs6 installed adobe production premium cs6.  note:  cs6 installed under different user new user having ame crash.

 

issue:

open ame.  encode file or not encode file because end result not matter.  quit ame (either hotkey or file --> quit).  ame crashes.  keep in mind no other cs6 programs affected way, ame.

 

i ran problem weeks ago , found solution worked.  fix delete 1 of many many folders adobe creates in user folder.  problem cannot find same posting fix listed.

 

i deleted "mystery folder" call , ame cs6 worked fine.  catch had redo whole "adobe id" sign in bs , retype serial number when opened 1 of other programs.

 

any guesses folder might can delete again?  hoping others may have run same issue.  keep looking fix, , post here if find it.

try going "~\library\preferences\adobe\" , delete folders "adobe media encoder" , "common"

this put ame in default state , remove media cache. custom presets deleted make sure them up.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
