Advanced Branching - HELP!

i have captivate 6 project need users to able navigate through appropriate slides based upon user roles. have slide 4 buttons users can select from. 3 of roles need view slides in project while 1 role needs view specific slides in project. don't see way branch 1 role specific slides. have tried creating groups, doesn't seem make difference. have tried creating advanced actions, hasn't worked either - becuase knowledge in realm limited. have solution type of issue?

the simplest option create 3 different sets of slides, of copies of same slides in other branches, , have each role jump slide begins specific set of slides.  set button or on exit action of final slide in each set jump common slide near end of project.

 

if have specific need minimise filesize , eliminate duplicate slides, have variables , advanced actions.  however, can quite complex.  involves setting variable each of roles.  user set variable when click button choose role.  you'll need have conditional advanced action set executed on slide enter of slide might not apply roles.  if conditional advanced action check finds user belong role should see slide's content, action continue, otherwise action go next slide.  conditional action jump user on slide not belong role.
