Advice on planned build

hi guys

 

i weekend warrior cs5 user. go site video copilot, maxafter, etc. follow tutorials , make them own whatever going on in life. not commercial school (sports , academic awards, etc) , family weddings, graduations , such.

 

i need new pc anyway because 5 year old dell xps struggling.

 

i want consider adobe use in build not dictate it. budget $1100, usb3 in front importatnt, no gaming on this, , multitasking photoshop, premiere , after effects consideration although 1 can shut down if needed fit budget. i'll 10-15 project year.

 

render time factor not preview keeping scrubline!! lol in decent resolution.

ideally stick midtower case less 17.75" fit in existing spot cpu. if realize greater performance, can move , rerun cabling through walls.

 

someone else suggested scrap atx , go micro , go setup.

route 2 cheaper, fit space both awesome leary using on board video. no expert have heard on board video = bad!!

 

any advice??

the first system, 1 nvidia video card stronger cs5. best served changing out cpu choice both quad-core , hyperthreaded premiere, if clock speed slower. more cores = more speed many aspects of video work.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
